For mass, you have to lift heavy. Forget the pull-up bar. Not sure if you can get it for under $200, but all you need is a squat rack, Olympic bars, plates, and a bench. With these 4 elements, you can perform deadlifts, squats, bench presses, barbell rows, overhead presses and all the important compound movements to gain weight.
You have to lift weights. You can only do weights up to 5 reps at a time to gain weight.
